Putting in time at the concession stand is a requirement for all parents in the LOTW Youth Hockey program. We are a volunteer organization and do not function without everyone doing their part! If you do not sign-up, then a week will be assigned to you unless you contact Janet Rudd and opt out of working the concession. If you opt out of working the concession, or do not put in all of your hours, you will be charged a fee of $300. Each family will be responsible to put in 15 hours of volunteer time (during the current hockey season) at the concession stand. The hours will be tracked and each family will be responsible and accountable for writing down the hours worked for their family. All levels (Mini-Mites thru Bantams) will be included in the work schedule.
Sign-up for the concession stand will be run on a first come, first serve basis through the website at www.lotwhockey.org, by clicking on the DIBS tab (then select “concession sign-ups 2018-19).
Fair Booth- July 10-13
Golf Tournament- July 28
Big Buck Tickets- August 29 thru November 2 (Tickets need to be turned in by 5:00 p.m. on November 2, please give to Janet or drop them in the “drop box” upstairs at Arena by the Coordinators Room)
Mandatory Parents Meeting
This season there will be a MANDATORY Parents Meeting, for all youth hockey parents, on Monday, September 17, 2017 at 6:00 PM, at the Baudette Arena. This meeting will give all parents the opportunity to meet the Lake of the Woods Youth Hockey Board, learn rules and regulations of the LOTW Youth Hockey Program, and meet their team’s coaches.
Practices will begin Mid-October for the Squirt, Pee-Wee, and Bantam levels. Mites and Mini-Mites will start mid November, usually after deer hunting season. Check our website www.lotwhockey.org to view ice time schedules.
We are always in need of referees, at all levels – especially 2 and 3. We encourage parents and players to attend a Referee Clinic. The Baudette Arena will be hosting a Ref Clinic. Please contact Janet Rudd for more information.
The Registration "Home" is not currently available.
