Explanation: USA Hockey has made it mandatory for all hockey players and coaches to register on-line.  This process consists of registering all players and coaches through the USA Hockey website, paying your USA Hockey ($30.00) and MN Hockey ($10.00) fees on-line, and printing out your Registration Confirmation Page.   In the past, L/W YOUTH HOCKEY has paid the USA Hockey & MN Hockey Fees.  Players born in 2004 and after do not have to pay the fees, but are still required to register on-line.

L/W YOUTH HOCKEY will be holding its Association Registration on Wednesday, September 15^th from 5-7 p.m. at the Baudette Library.   Internet access will be available that evening for those still needing USA Hockey registration. The USA Hockey Registration Confirmation Page will have a Bar Code that will be scanned on the night of registration.   While registering on-line you will also complete the “Wavier of Liability” form, requiring one less document to be filled out at registration!  Please feel free to contact Janice Nelson tjnelson@wiktel.com or Brent Birkeland brent_b@co.lake-of-the-woods.mn.us with any questions you may have.  Below are instructions for the on-line registration process:

Things you need to complete USA Hockey registration:

1.     Computer with an Internet Connection

2.     Printer

3.     Credit Card

4.     Name, Birth date, & address of all Players and/or Coaches you will be registering. (You will have to register each player and/or coach separately)

Instructions:

1.     Go to http://www.usahockey.com

2.     Click on the “Players” tab in the upper left corner

3.     Click on “Register Online”

4.     Choose Member Type (Ice Players & Coaches)

5.     Check Box that reads “I am currently 18 years of age or older”

6.     Click Continue

7.     Choose who you are registering for (player or yourself/coach)

8.     Fill in appropriate info. **Make sure you check the “I Accept” box under Waiver of Liability & Enter your Initials.

9.     Summary Page:  At this point you can register another player or coach, or continue to the checkout.

10. Billing Info:  Fill in your Billing Information (i.e. Credit Card Number) and click “Pay Now”

11. Click on the Confirmation Page link.  It is highlighted in RED.  If you have registered more than one player/coach you will have to click on each separate Confirmation Page.
