Goals of the Program: The following goals are the intended purpose of the Lake of the Woods Youth Hockey program. They are stated here so the coaches and the parents mutually understand what is trying to be accomplished with the players. It is understood that the coaches agree with these goals and will abide by them in spirit and in fact.

Teach the fundamentals of hockey as much as the age level and development of the player will allow. -
Teach sportsmanship and clean competition. -
Provide competition and have fun. -
Provide participation and ice time, where possible, for all players who show an interest.
